An award closing is only the first of the dates that matter. After it there is the deposit that keeps your place, the unconditional offer the funder wants to see before it pays, and a last day to arrive and register. Yes for Pakistan, India, Bangladesh (South Asia, GBP 12,000) and for Saudi Arabia and UAE (Middle East); Qatar and Oman are not on the scheme's country list.
What the award is
The University of Manchester's institution-wide merit awards for international students starting full-time, on-campus master's courses in September 2027, with dedicated awards for students from Pakistan and other South Asian countries (Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka). The official page states the University offers awards totalling more than GBP 6 million but prints no per-award amount or closing date; applications are made via an online form issued to offer-holders.
