Deadlines for this scholarship

An award closing is only the first of the dates that matter. After it there is the deposit that keeps your place, the unconditional offer the funder wants to see before it pays, and a last day to arrive and register. Where the funder publishes none of these, the row says so — a blank is what the official page actually says, not something we have left out.

Who can apply

Yes - any fee-paying (non-EU/EEA) applicant who put a KTH master's programme as first priority on universityadmissions.se and paid the application fee; there is no country list, so Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Gulf nationals are in scope.

What the award is

KTH's own tuition-fee scholarship for fee-paying (non-EU) master's students, awarded primarily on academic excellence plus motivation to contribute to sustainable development; about 9% of admitted applicants were nominated in 2026. You must first apply for a master's programme at KTH as your first choice via universityadmissions.se; scholarship applications open 1 December 2026 and close 15 January 2027, with results announced 1 April 2027 (dates as printed on the page, last updated 13 October 2026). Official source: https://www.kth.se/en/studies/master/admissions/scholarships/kth-scholarship-1.72827 (checked 29 October 2026). In full: ; living costs not included.

Where these dates came from

kth.se states under 'Application deadlines for the KTH Scholarship': '1 December 2026: Application opens', '15 January 2027: Application closes', '1 April 2027: Scholarship results announced'; the page publishes no date by which an admission letter must be held (selection runs in parallel with admissions, results 1 April 2027), so that column is blank. The page adds that documents uploaded through universityadmissions.se 'must be submitted by the document submission deadline, 1 February' and that eligibility needs KTH as first priority with the application fee paid; the scholarship covers only KTH's tuition fee, so no tuition-payment or latest-arrival date exists - https://www.kth.se/en/studies/master/admissions/scholarships/kth-scholarship-1.72827 (checked 30 October 2026)

Deadlines move. Always confirm on the funder's own page before you book anything — the link above is where we read it.
