Deadlines for this scholarship
An award closing is only the first of the dates that matter. After it there is the deposit that keeps your place, the unconditional offer the funder wants to see before it pays, and a last day to arrive and register. Where the funder publishes none of these, the row says so — a blank is what the official page actually says, not something we have left out.

Who can apply
Bangladesh, India and Pakistan are all on the CSC eligible-country list; UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman are not (not Commonwealth eligible countries).
What the award is
Master's scholarships funded by the UK government (FCDO) and run by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission for students from eligible lower- and middle-income Commonwealth countries (Pakistan qualifies), to take a one-year master's linked to a CSC development theme. Covers course fees, a monthly stipend and airfares; you apply directly on the CSC Apply system alongside a UK university admission. Applications for the 2027/28 academic year open 10 November 2026 and close in mid-December 2026 (the CSC site confirms the exact date when the round opens). Official source: https://cscuk.fcdo.gov.uk/commonwealth-shared-scholarship-university-bids/ (checked 29 October 2026).Where these dates came from
Commonwealth Shared Scholarships for the 2027/28 academic year open Tuesday 10 November 2026 and close 16:00 GMT on Tuesday 8 December 2026, for study in the UK beginning September/October 2027 — https://cscuk.fcdo.gov.uk/scholarships/commonwealth-shared-scholarships-applications/ (checked 30 October 2026). No tuition or enrolment date is published; the CSC page sets no date by which an admission/offer must already be held (it states applications are shared with the bidding universities, which nominate chosen candidates to the CSC in March), so cas_deadline is blank.
Deadlines move. Always confirm on the funder's own page before you book anything — the link above is where we read it.
