Deadlines for this scholarship
An award closing is only the first of the dates that matter. After it there is the deposit that keeps your place, the unconditional offer the funder wants to see before it pays, and a last day to arrive and register. Where the funder publishes none of these, the row says so — a blank is what the official page actually says, not something we have left out.
No closing date published. This funder sets its closing date per country, or opens the call only when the cycle begins. Send us your documents and we will apply the moment your country’s window opens.
Who can apply
Mid-career professionals apply through their local U.S. Embassy or Fulbright commission; Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Gulf candidates are screened country by country.
What the award is
A ten-month, non-degree professional fellowship at a US university for mid-career professionals with a record of public service and leadership; it is funded by the US Department of State and run as a Fulbright exchange, so there is no graduate degree at the end. Applications go through the US embassy or Fulbright commission of the applicant's own country, and each post announces its own closing date (the USEFP page for Pakistan asks for 8-18 years of professional experience after 16 years of schooling, and the 2027 cycle closed on 20 May 2026). The listed coverage - tuition, airfare, textbooks, stipend and health insurance - is quoted from the USEFP Humphrey page. Official source: https://www.usefp.org/scholarships/humphrey.cfm (checked 29 October 2026).Where these dates came from
The official program page states candidates apply via U.S. Embassies and Fulbright Commissions and publishes no dates - each country sets its own deadline — https://www.humphreyfellowship.org/how-to-apply/ (checked 30 October 2026). USEFP's Humphrey page for Pakistan shows the deadline as 20 May 2026 with status 'Closed' and no next-cycle dates — https://usefp.org/scholarships/humphrey.cfm (checked 30 October 2026); all columns blank accordingly.
Deadlines move. Always confirm on the funder's own page before you book anything — the link above is where we read it.
