Deadlines for this scholarship
An award closing is only the first of the dates that matter. After it there is the deposit that keeps your place, the unconditional offer the funder wants to see before it pays, and a last day to arrive and register. Where the funder publishes none of these, the row says so — a blank is what the official page actually says, not something we have left out.

Who can apply
Not eligible for the portal's students: Camões, I.P. names Angola, Cabo Verde, Colombia, Ethiopia, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal and Timor-Leste as the only current scholarship-eligible countries - Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Gulf nationals are excluded.
What the award is
Portugal's cooperation and language agency Camoes, I.P. (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) funds foreign nationals to do a bachelor's degree at a Portuguese public or recognised private institution. The tenders are opened country by country through the Portuguese diplomatic mission and local authorities, and each one fixes the number of places and the nationality rule - the 2026/2027 Angola tender, for example, had 2 places for Angolan nationals under 22 who finished secondary school in Angola, applied 3-10 June 2026, with the monthly amounts listed above. There is no single worldwide deadline: students must watch the notice published by the Portuguese embassy in their own country. Camões I.P.'s own programme page states that applications are lodged only in the country of origin with the local authorities, and that publishing the number of places, the documents and the submission deadlines is the responsibility of those authorities together with the Portuguese embassies, so the agency itself lists no closing date - https://www.instituto-camoes.pt/activity/o-que-fazemos/bolsas-estudo/bolsas-camoes/bolsas-cooperacao/formacao-em-portugal (checked 30 October 2026); camoes.mne.pt did not resolve. Every column is blank because no date is published at source (the only date on the page, 15 October, is the annual renewal deadline for holders already enrolled, not an entry deadline).
