Deadlines for this scholarship

An award closing is only the first of the dates that matter. After it there is the deposit that keeps your place, the unconditional offer the funder wants to see before it pays, and a last day to arrive and register. Where the funder publishes none of these, the row says so — a blank is what the official page actually says, not something we have left out.

No closing date published. This funder sets its closing date per country, or opens the call only when the cycle begins. Send us your documents and we will apply the moment your country’s window opens.

Who can apply

Official MTCP eligible-countries PDF lists Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman (Master's by research/coursework, applicants under 45 at date of application).

What the award is

Malaysian Government (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) programme for professionals from developing MTCP-recipient countries to pursue a master's degree in Malaysia; the award lasts 24-36 months and covers any study mode (coursework, mixed-mode or research). It is an annual round; the 2026 call closed in June 2026, so a currently open closing date is not shown and deadline is left blank. Specific MYR figures were not confirmable on the official page and are not invented here. Official source: https://mtcp.kln.gov.my/scholarship (checked 29 October 2026).

Where these dates came from

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia MTCP portal's Application Guidelines 2026 PDF states the round opened 4 May and closed 12 June 2026 for the September/October 2026 intake only; no 2027 round is posted, so the deadline column stays blank - https://mtcp.kln.gov.my/scholarship (checked 30 October 2026).

Deadlines move. Always confirm on the funder's own page before you book anything — the link above is where we read it.

The 2027-2028 call opened on 20 August 2026 on the online portal, and the closing date is country-specific: for Pakistan the published deadline is 31 October 2026 (HEC states it only advertises the call, so you apply yourself and no nomination is required).
