Deadlines for this scholarship

An award closing is only the first of the dates that matter. After it there is the deposit that keeps your place, the unconditional offer the funder wants to see before it pays, and a last day to arrive and register. Where the funder publishes none of these, the row says so — a blank is what the official page actually says, not something we have left out.

No closing date published. This funder sets its closing date per country, or opens the call only when the cycle begins. Send us your documents and we will apply the moment your country’s window opens.

Who can apply

Postgraduates from MIS 2026 recipient countries: ASEAN, all Commonwealth countries (covers Pakistan, India, Bangladesh) and listed states incl. Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait; Oman is not on the list (Guidelines MIS 2026 PDF on the MOHE portal).

What the award is

Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education award for international students to pursue postgraduate (master's and PhD) study at Malaysian public universities. The official portal shows the 2026/2027 call has closed (that round ran March-April 2026), so it is an ongoing annual scheme rather than one currently open; the next call is expected in the first few months of the year. Because no open-round closing date is published on the page, deadline is left blank. Exact MYR allowance figures were not printed on the official page and are not quoted here. Official source: https://biasiswa.mohe.gov.my/INTER/index.php (checked 29 October 2026).

Where these dates came from

The official MOHE Malaysia MIS portal (biasiswa.mohe.gov.my/INTER) states the 2026/2027 round is CLOSED, with result-checking only (08 Oct - 31 Dec 2026); no next-round window is published, so nothing is dated for 2027 entry - https://biasiswa.mohe.gov.my/INTER/index.php (checked 30 October 2026).

Deadlines move. Always confirm on the funder's own page before you book anything — the link above is where we read it.

The 2027-2028 call opened on 20 August 2026 on the online portal, and the closing date is country-specific: for Pakistan the published deadline is 31 October 2026 (HEC states it only advertises the call, so you apply yourself and no nomination is required).
