Deadlines for this scholarship
An award closing is only the first of the dates that matter. After it there is the deposit that keeps your place, the unconditional offer the funder wants to see before it pays, and a last day to arrive and register. Where the funder publishes none of these, the row says so — a blank is what the official page actually says, not something we have left out.
No closing date published. This funder sets its closing date per country, or opens the call only when the cycle begins. Send us your documents and we will apply the moment your country’s window opens.
Who can apply
Mostly no - the 2026 short-term list included India but not Pakistan, Bangladesh or any Gulf state; citizens/staff of Russian and Belarusian institutions are excluded.
What the award is
The second Lithuanian state scholarship line for incoming international students on the official Study in Lithuania scholarships page, for short-term (semester-length) studies: study costs are covered and a monthly scholarship is paid, listed as EUR 592 for first- and second-cycle students and EUR 1,184 for third-cycle students. Eligibility follows the country list shown on the page. The 2026 round closed on 17 April 2026 and the page gives no date for the next call. Official source: https://studyin.lt/scholarships/ (checked 29 October 2026).Where these dates came from
The foundation's page states the short-term call for the 2026-2027 academic year (up to 35 scholarships, 1 semester / max 6 months) 'is now CLOSED!', with the only published dates being '17 April 2026: deadline to apply' (4:00 p.m. Vilnius time) and the 2026 result notification; no 2027 call date has been published, so all date columns stay blank. Being accepted for the short-term studies at a Lithuanian HEI is a prerequisite but carries no published cut-off date - https://studyin.lt/scholarships/short-term-studies/ (checked 30 October 2026)
Deadlines move. Always confirm on the funder's own page before you book anything — the link above is where we read it.
