Deadlines for this scholarship

An award closing is only the first of the dates that matter. After it there is the deposit that keeps your place, the unconditional offer the funder wants to see before it pays, and a last day to arrive and register. Where the funder publishes none of these, the row says so — a blank is what the official page actually says, not something we have left out.

No closing date published. This funder sets its closing date per country, or opens the call only when the cycle begins. Send us your documents and we will apply the moment your country’s window opens.

Who can apply

For foreign citizens and ethnic Greeks permanently residing abroad (applications are lodged with the Greek mission abroad); the per-country allocation/eligibility list could not be read because the official mfa.gr pages were inaccessible - see note.

What the award is

Real Greek national programme: Directorate E3 of the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs awards 50 scholarships per academic year to foreign nationals and ethnic-Greek permanent residents abroad for undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Greek higher-education institutions, with a monthly allowance of EUR 650.00, exemption from tuition fees and free textbooks. Candidates apply to the Greek diplomatic mission covering their country of residence; the 2026-2027 call closed on 27 July 2026 (within 30 days of publication), and the eligible-country list is issued with each call as an annex to the notice. Official source: https://www.mfa.gr/missionsabroad/el/mexico/news/programma-khoregeses-penenta-50-upotrophion-proptukhiakon-kai-metaptukhiakon-spoudon-se-ellenika-aei-akademaikou-etous-20262027.html (checked 29 October 2026).

Where these dates came from

All four columns blank because the official source could not be opened: every mfa.gr article page tested (https://www.mfa.gr/missionsabroad/el/mexico/news/programma-khoregeses-penenta-50-upotrophion-proptukhiakon-kai-metaptukhiakon-spoudon-se-ellenika-aei-akademaikou-etous-20262027.html and the /en/ and mission-index variants) returned HTTP 403 from this network, so no closing date could be read off the ministry's own page. mfa.gr's own search index shows the AY 2026-2027 call stating applications are lodged "εντός διαστήματος 30 ημερών από τη δημοσίευση της πρόσκλησης" (within 30 days of publication of the invitation) - that round has closed in any case. (checked 30 October 2026)

Deadlines move. Always confirm on the funder's own page before you book anything — the link above is where we read it.
