Deadlines for this scholarship
An award closing is only the first of the dates that matter. After it there is the deposit that keeps your place, the unconditional offer the funder wants to see before it pays, and a last day to arrive and register. Where the funder publishes none of these, the row says so — a blank is what the official page actually says, not something we have left out.
No closing date published. This funder sets its closing date per country, or opens the call only when the cycle begins. Send us your documents and we will apply the moment your country’s window opens.
Who can apply
Open to international students, but only those already admitted/enrolled at a German higher-education institution; nationality is not a barrier.
What the award is
A public-private scholarship run under the Federal Ministry of Education and Research: EUR 300 per month, half paid by the federal government and half by a private sponsor, for at least two semesters. The official page says it supports high-achieving and committed students 'from all over the world', so nationality and income are not barriers - but it is only payable to students already admitted/enrolled at a German university. Applications go directly to your own university, which sets its own annual selection round, so there is no single nationwide deadline. Official source: https://www.deutschlandstipendium.de/deutschlandstipendium/de/services/english/the-deutschlandstipendium-best-of-both-worlds-for-students.html (checked 29 October 2026).Where these dates came from
The Federal BMWK-funded Deutschlandstipendium has no nationwide date: the official English page states it is awarded by the universities and 'Applicants must meet the requirements of the individual institutions', so each Hochschule runs its own annual application round with its own deadline (https://www.deutschlandstipendium.de/deutschlandstipendium/de/services/english/the-deutschlandstipendium-best-of-both-worlds-for-students.html, checked 30 October 2026). application_deadline is therefore left blank; funding is EUR 300/month (EUR 150 federal + EUR 150 private sponsor) and no tuition/CAS/enrolment date is published by the scheme.
Deadlines move. Always confirm on the funder's own page before you book anything — the link above is where we read it.
