South Cyprus Student Visa Requirements
International students must apply for a student visa before traveling. Required documents include:
- Passport original (minimum 2 years validity, scanned first 3 pages)
- Educational Certificates (original) – HSSC with 50% marks / Bachelor’s degree
- CNIC of Student & Parents
- FRC (Family Registration Certificate)
- Police Character Certificate (Original)
- Medical Certificate (Original) issued by any government hospital
- Bank Statement (equals to €7,500) & Bank Maintenance Letter
- 2x Passport size photographs (white background)
- English Language Certificate (IELTS / PTE)
Documents Attestation Procedure
- Passport: First attested by the Passport Office, then apostille-attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
- Educational Documents: Attested by Board Office → IBCC → MOFA (apostille). For Bachelor’s degree, attested by HEC → MOFA (apostille).
- Medical Certificates: Required tests – Syphilis/VDRL, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B & C, Chest X-ray. Must be issued as a fitness certificate signed by the HOD of a government hospital.
- Bank Documents: Bank Statement & Maintenance Letter must be signed/stamped by bank manager and apostille-attested.
- FRC & PCC: Directly apostille-attested by MOFA.
- Final Step: All attested documents must be notarized by Notary Public before being couriered to the University.
